EMILE G. STEEVENSZ

Emile is tax lawyer and partner with Steevensz|Beckers Tax Lawyers in Curaçao. Emile holds a BA in tax law from the Academy of the Dutch Federation of tax advisors and holds an LL.M in tax law of the University of Leiden.

He started his career with Deloitte in the Netherlands for which he went to Curaçao in 2001. He continued his career with the Curaçao office of Loyens & Loeff. As of April 1, 2011 he is tax partner of Steevensz|Beckers Tax Lawyers.

Emile is working the general tax practise with a focus on international tax structures and international tax planning, private equity structures, ruling practise, due diligence, aircraft lease, mergers & acquisitions, international trading structures and asset protection. Emile frequently advices high net worth individuals and their companies. In his work he frequently represents clients for foreign law office in Europe, the US and Latin America.

Emile is associated as of-counsel tax lawyer with Kraaijveld Coppus Legal BV, an international tax boutique in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Emile is contributor to the Bloomberg/BNA VAT Monitor for Curaçao, St. Maarten and the Caribbean Netherlands.
